Thank you. At my "home photography forum" I get ignored. Nice to finally get some attention from real photographers.
Now, as for the location. Basically, it was just downtown Louisville. But you have to understand that while its fine to be here during the day, at night its a whole different story. I take off my $700 watch, leave my wallet in the car, and park where I have to pay and its well lit. Its simply too easy for thugs/homeless to see a (presumably) big and nice camera mounted on a tripod with only 1 guy in the way (me) from money at a pawn shop. Its just nerve-racking. Thats all. I honestly did "click and run" though. I got off 2 exposures. One for 25 seconds and one for 30 seconds. Packed my tripod as I walked to my car. I tried to shut off the camera immediately after the photo but it stayed on while it saved the RAW.
