Some inspiration please

Im shooting a wedding over in spain in 8 weeks. The bride and groom are both friends of mine. The mother and father of the bride have both retired and moved over there a few years ago, hence the reason why they are having it over in spain.
I will be flying out 2 days before the wedding so not a lot of time to organise a lot of things.i'll scout a few places as soon as i get there as my hotel is next to the venue. They are both over there just now doing some final preparations so i asked my mate ( the groom ) to take some shots of the cathedral they are getting married in as he's been saying for months the place is beautiful.

Well, he sent me some photos tonight from his mobile phone and the place looks absolutely amazing. I couldnt believe these pictures. ive never seen a place like it and cant believe im getting to shoot in such a stunning place. lovely Glass stained windows. Very Very high ceilings and more than enough natural light coming in from the windows and a massive glass roof just above the alter. im sure to get some stunning photos.
Once i figure out how to get them off my phone i will post some of the photos for you guys to see.
well, here comes my question. Im guessing/hoping some of you's have photographed some weddings in these places and hoping you's could post some of your work for me to have a look at. At first i was going to take all the formal group shots outside but i just have to make use of this place straight after the vows.
Perhaps get group shots in here as well as shots of the bride and groom alone. ive also been told i can move about during the cremony which is a massive bonus. unfortunetly i can only be at one place at a time as i will be doing this on my own but theres so many places to get spectacular shots. Balconys and everything

If anyone knows of any togs out there, especially in spain, italy etc as i guess these type of cathedral's are standard in these places then could you please post some links to their sites.

I do have an idea on what type of shots i will be going for but i would also like to see other folks work in these surroundings and any links of any good spanish/italy etc wedding togs.

well only one person replied to my post from a few days ago but i wanted to still share these photos for anyone interested. my friend sent me these through earlier. this is the place hes getting married and im well excited to be the photographer.

Im actually over the Moon. To shoot a place like that plus have the weather like that will be great. We dont usually get weather like this here in scotland. well thats not true really, but hardly ever during an actual wedding day plus the fact its going to be around 4-5 pm so it wont be very harsh lighting outside.

i really want some sunset ones with them in it too.

i think the wedding ceremony is for 4pm. though ive not confirmed that yet.
so by the time we get outside for shots the sun wont be so harsh i hope.
i hope i dont find it difficult trying to get loads of different angles during the ceremony as , well i can only be in the one place at any one time. though ive been told im allowed to move around freely.

I do want to work off available light but i want to try some off camera lighting also with a shoot through umbrella, but im not sure if the canon wireless system will work outside 100%

ie: triggering my 430ex as a slave with the master 580ex on the cameras hotshoe.
perhaps someone could shed some light on this

wasn't there a problem last year was it? a photog had a problem with the priest not allowing them to take pics of the ceromony because they weren't the local photog?

Im not sure mate but they have confirmed that im allowed to take photos and can move around freely

well thats me flying out tomorrow to shoot the wedding on Wednesday.
cannot wait.

Hopefully my hotel will have wireless connectivity so i can post some images after it

one thing im bothered about is my 70-200 F4 wont cut it in the cathedral but from the photos it looks like theres plenty of natural light and im told theres lights going to be set up too. i guess i will find out tomorrow.

i borrowed my shooting partners (who isnt coming over with me) Tamron 90mm 2.8 so i may need to use this in the cathedral
