Not much to say. Was fooling around, haven't done this stuff for about a year now :). I've still got the touch, I think. You decide =P.

Let me know what you would have done differently...

To clear a few things up...I took the picture in the photo you see. The tree with the foreground is my photo.

I must say, it's creative and abstract.
An interesting piece of work.

Maybe a better fit over in Still Life, B&W and Experimental . . .

Not much of a landscape or travel photo, but quite an exercise in digital art.

Interesting abstract...

What is up with the defensive attitude???

Sorry...I got used to people claiming I stole other peoples photos to make what you see. That was a year ago though, on a forum where people did this kind of "art." Could a mod move it to Still life please?

No big deal. I like the shot. It never crossed my mind that you stole it. I think the colors and surreal nature of it are really incredible and very dreamlike.

That is strange. I have not really encountered that on this forum. What forum were you on where you were accused of that?

I'm not sure, it was more like two years ago ;). Gamerenders.net and sigsource.com I think...People used to go on deviantart.com or search google images just to find things to manipulate. They never took their own picture to manipulate that and they got off on people who stole copyrighted photos and edited them.

Did anyone notice the eye in the middle of the tree? I asked three people and they all said no  .

Here is the before shot btw:

I did not notice the eye until you pointed it out. That is really cool and very
3-D looking.

Your processed version is much bette than the original. I can really appreciated what you have done.

By the way, what is the metalic looking thing to the left that looks like it has a kids image on it?

It wasn't on this forum that I got accused of, by the way.

You can find v2 of the manip in my original post at the top of this thread. Please let me know if v1 or v2 is better...

I think I like version 1 the best (the first one you posted). Version 2 looks too flat to me. They are both nicely done, but the first one really looks like it is something that you would see in your dreams, and I think that is pretty cool!
