allright, i had a thread bookmarked that told me how to test a new 30d to make sure the sensor and all that are good, no dust, no grease on lens, etc etc

however, i lost the thread. anyone have a resource that can lay it out to me (a dslr newb) so that i know what to look for and exactly how to find it?

wanna make sure that i don't snap off too many excitement shots to not get a new 30d due to use if this one is a bum copy...i haven't put any shots on the computer to look at yet.

thanks!

Attach a lens and go outside, take a few shots at f/22 of preferably blue sky.

Don't be surprised if its got dust spots everywhere. Mine came factory fresh with several dust particles on the sensor but a copperhill cleaning took care of that in short order.
