Nice Picture. One to keep for the Album.
Focus good and the colour is just right for a young lady.

Thanks khall, it was a quick shot this morning before her patience ran out.

Hi Dad.
Remember you need patience with the young ladies in the family.
TP. Enjoy while you can as they soon grow up.

Great photo, except her eyes are not quite sharp. In fact, the top of her hat looks to be a tad more in focus - what AF point were you using?

Thanks TeeJay.
Centre AF as always, It was probably camera shake holding the 70-200 at a slowish shutter speed. (happens when you get older)

Did a little fooling around with my limited photoshop skills. Is this any better?

hope you don't mind, i did an edit. the basic things i did, if you are interest, is crop a bit off the right, brighten up the shadows, increase saturation a bit (while trying to keep skintones under control) and a bit of sharpening :).

Hope you like it. In my defence it was done on a laptop, I see on my desktop its a bit too cold and flat.

Twisted,
It's a very nice shot.
This one is worth a little post-processing time.
Sharpen just the eyes, bring up the shadows, fix the blemishes on her nose and chin, and you'll have a winner!

A little fill flash always helps with people wearing hats. With the camera vertical, you won't get a shadow under the hat brim. I realize you didn't have a lot of time.

Thank you asylumxl, Curtis and Roger. Thanks for the help and advise. I definately have to do something with the shadows and sharpening of original.
