Hi Lisa! Great to see you this morning.

The new camera is fantastic! I LOVE IT!!

I played with it last night for quite a while. I can't wait to try it out on someone!

Do you love yours?

I DO love mine, but it really showed me my crappy lenses...so now I am waiting on that piece of glass...TODAY!!!!

I cannot wait...I'll shoot when I am in Cleveland, I would like to get out and practice with some store front shooting at night.

You will love that lens! Did you order a lens hood for it too? It usually doesn't come with one.

I have spent money like crazy this month on gear! Time to stop it!:p

No, I did not...Hmmm, I have a few here, do you think they might work?

1k for a lens and no lens hood, LOL,,,imagine that.

Can you believe that guy shot that wedding with a kit lens? I am going to try to snag a few of his images and post them when I can. It'll be a while. He has no online anything...

20D, the lens that comes with it, 18-55 or whatever that is? he had the new 580ex flash and used the westcott diffuser..he said that flash could light up that whole wedding hall.

He was a good guy...I really liked him, we are supposed to get together, I hope he does call.

OOOO but he is ordering the L series lenses soon.

I have several of those lenses...HA! Don't we all!

I have used it before in certain situations but I try to avoid it!:D If the conditions are all just perfect for its capability, it works great, otherwise for me its crappy!

He must know how to work it, with the lighting and all..

One thing he did adn I did not get to talk to him about, is all his Ceremony Pictures were done from the back of the sanctuary, I try to (if allowed) get a few shots of the bride and groom up front..not sure how many people really do this, but he put the camera up on a tripod and shot hmm..maybe 10 or more shots. that was it. I thought WOW, would that take down my count for sure, LOL

You know what I use my kit lens for every once and awhile? as a macro lens, it can focus incredibly close, closer than any other lens I own. Not perfect, but works for that pretty well!
