Took this photo 3 years ago during a lunar eclipse, had my 10D hooked up to a telescope

Do you still do that (shoot with a telescope)? I was going to try to take my cheapie 75-300mm out and do a mirror lockup, timed, detonated remote, whatever this thing does for night/long exposure shots. Not sure I'm going to be up for it at 3am though (plus, we've got some nasty weather over us right now). Not really, I was at a friend of a friends house and he had the telescope, for comparison, here is the same moon that night with a 75-300mm lens at 300mm
