Excellent - glad you found one. I'm not surprised folks haven't responded yet - keep in mind it's pretty late in some parts already and you only posted about an hour ago.
The reason I bring up about the deposit - I realize you are trying to be nice - but think back to all the discussion here and in related threads about the concept of "value" that we place on ourselves, and how we try to impart this view on the buying public.
Once you put a price on your services, even if it is only a deposit, that conveys to the client what YOU think of your own worth, and how you expect THEM to feel about it also. Since they've paid for something, or even a piece of it, suddenly it is worth more to them. Because until any money exchanges hands, it's still free in the minds of a lot of people. Recall how this tracks with all your years in sales - I'm sure you understand what I'm saying. Logically it does not follow, but people are emotional about this sort of thing. And until something comes out of their purse, it doesn't really have a whole lot of value to them. Just something to think about going forward.....

I found a nice sample contract by the way Stu. Since nobody responded, I did a search on the forum and found a few.
