From the very early reviews so far, it seems high ISO performance is equal to or greater than the 30D which is good news! It'll be awesome. I want one. I'm upset at the same time though. With 6.5 fps, highlight tone priority, interchangable focus screens and other features, it's almost pointless going with the 1D3. If I had known the 40D was gonna be this good I probably would have skipped the 1D3. -Lloyd
