That's what I thought! Olsen twins!

Hm, darn. I wonder when I last posted anything decent on POTN. Too busy with the chat threads and this one doesn't help!

I was up about 2 hours ago but had to update my palm pilot. School starts on Tuesday and I wanted to sync the new school calendar with all the little details and somehow arrange vacations in the winter and spring, so I just logged on.

How are you all this morning?

Good Morning Suzie! I am great thanks! I love my new found plan of waiting a week to work on pics - then I zoom right through them and I like most of them :)

I can't even imagine going through 1400 good images. That would take me forever and with the amount of keepers and PP between you guys, the couple got a bargain. Seriously though, I think 40-60 in an album is a lot. 300 images and I'm thinking, it's Uncle Joe's slides of his 1964 vacation to Yellowstone. For a real album with 8x10's or 5x7, if you are not in the bridal party, would you sit through more than 50 images? I know there are all varieties of packages, and the 300 proofs will all be great to thrumb through if you have an hour or so, but how many of the 300 do people actually order?

Did you guys see this thread yet?

https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=371425

I think this is why I have 3 cameras at all times. If my 5D did that, I would be worried, but just take out the 20D and run with it. The problem is, if you are not used to 2 or more camera bodies, you can get very confused. :)

I typically give 250-300 images...but I only shoot like 800- 900 :) he he. It may seem like a lot, and it is if you "sit down' and go through them regularly - but not too bad if you think of all the ones they will probably give to friends, frame for the house, his office, her office, mom - dad - uncle... I get reorders on a good portion of that 250...infact, I just had a bride order 4x6's of her entire wedding..and I gave her over 500 proofs!!!!! WOOO HOOOOO! several enlargements (2 16 x 20's on canvas) and a wedding book! I knew it'd be a good order - they spent nearly 1000 on just their engagment pics!

I do the Asuka books with 20 pages and put around 80 images in there..and I think that looks good, not too crowded depending on your lay out...

and you can personally thank me for finding and fighting the little bug that screwed the image resize action and cost me 200......They (Kubota) updated the album action and sent me a free one...but refused to admit it was their problem that ruined my wedding album...
