General Wedding Chit Chat Thread...

ok...lets see...I "found" it - AFTER I ordered a 30 page Asuka EX and the all the smaller images in the book looked like SH*T!!!!!! so I started piddlin with the actions and realized it was their downsize action that didn't properly resharpen the images...it was a back and forth fight for about a month before they "magically" found a bug and fixed itin the downsizing action...yeah. nice. buttholes...I still had to get another book..I was actually ticked at Asuka and Kevin Kubota. Asuka "assumed" that the pics were just blurry...I was like..are you kidding me...youre saying that I can have 75 crisp, clean images but I would throw in 10 crappy images...come on. i don't expect them to fix evrything, but a call or an email to say hey - we just wanted to double check a few images, they aren't as clear as the others...would have been nice.

Thanks for that info about the book. I am going to order one this week to see the quality. My son's pictures are all done now and I have to do something with them. Also, I have a family reunion, 40+ pictures to do a book and I haven't ordered it yet.

Look at that, I totally forgot to frame one!! I swear I have no idea what I am doing right now, my workflow is a mess right now, this is totally not what I am used to dealing with after a wedding, I have WAY too many images to go through, and other things, copying files off my laptop etc. But it's all worth it, but just another reason I haven't posted any pics yet, I haven't got them sorted out yet!

Next time maybe it'd be easier to just go straight to your place and offload to your main computer?

Yikes! I took 860 photos yesterday! Geesh, if I had actually gotten enough time with the B&G I probably would have had closer to 1000 shots...

Yep, we'll have to figure out something!! this is not how I am used to working!! I just went through the discarded images to see if I could find more, and of course I did!! this is the third time I've done this, this morning!

AND I also ran out of drive space as well!! shooting this many raw images KILLS disk space. Time to order a couple more 500 GB Drives I think.
