Well even though it was in a rundown part of town...they were still well lit..nice and bright and to me thats not the feeling I got in that area.

So I would tone down the saturation and vibrance...use a lot of shadow and black increase...then raise the exposure.

I really just tried to make it look how it felt. Each photo was a different emotion or feeling. One place was very creepy...another was very quiet...another seemed very destructive..etc etc. So I adjusted the image accordingly.

Notice in the third photo there are three doors with no way to get to them....the stairs had been ripped off. Funny thing...this is the same area as this photo...only a couple months ago or so.

That's good stuff! I love urban photography, it just really adds to it though when you throw the human element into the mix!
