Well...Bryan, thanks for your confidence...I will do the best I can, not sure what that is..

alot of her pics..well..see...what she got is basically what we see when we throw in our card after a wedding...Theres alot of "stuff" ya know, cropping, white balance, light etc...I mean, I know I can make them better...

The photog was very traditional, but was horrible with backgrounds..I have families in front of doors, a tree to the right of one person hanging out, flas was WAY TOO STRONG...her dress is champaign, it looks white in some..

SO....we'll see..

Got to get to work sorting...paid by the hour so I have to log my time..anyone got a sheet for that?

I'd rather like to see a shot of you with your camera under the fence and you on the other side..

Jared, these are good...

Bryan - just for the senior's own use. I'm not sure how Light Touch would deal with putting other people's work in their precious yearbooks ...

But if everything goes well with the elementary school contract, I'm hoping the other schools will fall into place with using someone local rather than a big faceless company whose work is questionable ... and consistently underexposed.

jared, this series kicks ass! I'd love to see what you could do with a "rural" setting ... junked out trucks and tractors and old horse-drawn equipment, left to rot ....

If you're referring to Life Touch, their work is the pits. I've already shot one senior session, have two getting ready to schedule, and have four others in the works. I also had an inquiry from a circuit court judge candidate who wants me to take a photo of his family for campaign materials.

Lisa - that's great on your new client!

I don't think a log sheet would be too hard to create?

Life Touch - that sounds right. My mind is going in my old age. But yeah, they suck! And apparently they've now taken over Jostens, and have gotten entirely too big for their britches, cannot even fulfill the yearbook/memory book needs of many schools.

Which is where I swoop in and save the day ... hopefully!

Yeah Jennifer, Lifetouch is big up here as well. They do all the photos for our high schools around here. I wonder how they would feel if we started doing senior portraits and took away sales from them.
