Gorgeous Jennifer! Wow, I'm so impressed!

What do you put in your newsletter? How often do you update it? The 8x10s - do you put those in t heir own bag/folder/thing, or are they just tucked in the one side of the folder where the info package is and all that?

Newsletter - news, new services/packages, reminder to book for fall/Christmas photos ... crap like that. This is my first one, but I'll probably do another one in October to remind people again about booking for Christmas photos.

If it was just the one 8x10, I'd have it loose in there. This order had three, so I left them in the plastic bag (with cardboard) that they came in from the lab. If there were a bunch, I'd put them in a 8x10x0.5 TAP box. I have another order coming in with enough 8x10s to justify a box, but I'm stingy with my boxes. They're probably the most expensive part of my packaging.

Brian, very nice shots of the family and of your brother, I'm sorry to hear about your uncle, your family is definitely in my prayers.

Throwing me into the mix, I guess there must be at least 15 pros around then.

Yeah, except you're like two weddings away from absolute brilliance. It'll take me at least 20 more to achieve "good 'nuff" status!

Interesting ... thanks for the info! I really like your packaging, I'm going to look into some of your techniques.

I'm having a tough decision moment.. I'm doing uni part time and I can't decide whether I want to take classes in class or by distance ed... and tomorrow/today is my last day to register. I'm SUCH a procrastinator.....

EDIT: AND I'm bad at making decisions... Grrrr... argh!

I'd stay away from the frou frou curling ribbon or people might question your sexuality. LOL

TAP does sell those stretchy gold/silver bands that go around two corners of their boxes, for dirt cheap - were I a dude, that's probably what I would do. And the box stamping is super cool, but I can't justify the extra cost at the moment.

Nope, this weekend I'm camping, next weekend we have the family portrait sessions all weekend, then the next weekend I'm shooting with him again.
