Jenn, nice pictures! I love the second one. I would like the first one better except for her eyes. They don't look right to me.

Jen - I'll agree with Jeff in that I don't like the angle of #1. #2 is great, it works for me and #3 she just looks too bored. It's almost like a "stand and smile" pose. I always try and give the hands something to do to avoid this look.

But about the blogs ... it's a personal pet peeve of mine, when I go to a website, to see spelling and grammar errors. When you're using your blog as a marketing tool, please take the extra time to spell check and read over your post a few times. And it might just be my anal-retentive, Martha Stewart personality, but if I'm looking at a website with the intention of spending money, and everything's not perfect, I'll go elsewhere.

Most blogs have spell check's nowdays.
I actually had "Albuquerque" spelled wrong for about a month or so... lol
(well.. it's a tricky one... )

Jenn, love the second image, #1 looks like you are little too high of an angle and #3 is 'ok' but doesn't do much for me, sorry.

Thanks Jeff ... #2 is my favorite as well. #3 is a grandma shot ... not exciting, but it'll sell. #1, I was above her on a wall, and yeah, I think too high. I actually think I like this photo better as a horizontal, turned 90 degrees horizontal, but thought other people would think that was weird.

Sorry Tim... but....
I will 100% disagree with this statement. There are LOTS of people that can take great pictures, you have to sell YOURSELF, and by adding your private life to your blog, you do that. It doesn't have to be too much stuff, but I believe it shows who you are, shows that you have a passion for photography outside of charging money for it. I think it really helps. There is NO way I would limit what I put on my blog to just professional stuff.

I agree in part, you do have to advertise your personality. People will hire someone they like who who takes good photos over someone they don't like so much who takes great photos. The blog is just another way to get people to come and meet you.

I couldn't agree more... personality goes a looong way in a digital world.

Now with that said I wouldn't put up cheesy drunk bar snap shots on the blog but good quality family photos are great. I think as long as the photos are going to show off your talents then post em'!

Jennifer, the hands are distracting me big time!! they need to be doing something with them!! even in their pockets is better than just hanging at their sides.

You're right ... I suck. Ugh! I don't even think of it at weddings because the girls always have their bouquets. Any suggestions of what to make them do with their hands for next time?

Well I didn't say you sucked! I always have guys put their hands in the pockets, works well for them usually. Girls, maybe have her one hand on her hip, or something, look at fashion magazines to get some ideas on what to do with hands and arms.

Meh, I don't mind. I usually think I suck anyway.

I'll definitely pick up a Vogue or something next time I'm out and about.

First off..you don't suck and stop saying that...You better start saying some positive things OK...you have a talent and creativity that alot do not have here..LOOK at your packaging ideas...WOW..and I mean that...Is your photography up there? not yet, but It will be..You keep going, hang in there and learn...Shoot, I'm still learning lots and my images are NOT what they should be.>BUT I am getting there...and I don't suck!!!! You don't either...Your learning and you will make mistakes..and you will always have images that people are not sure of...EVEN TIm has those days...Jeff too. they all do..but the further you go along, the less and less they become...

SO>..pick yourself off, brush yourself off, grab your camera and GO SHOOT SOME PICS GIRL!!!

#2....Your not allowed to use my UGH!
