Hiya All,

What a pig of a job I had doing these four shots/stacks, having seen & being spurred on by Brian's wonderful ' Fuschia ' shot/stack I though I'd have a go so I found this Cyclamen &, well judge for yourselves

#1 was obviously taken in situ. to windy just like me

#2 was stacked from 5 shots against black foam card

#3 is my attempt at ' Art ' stacked from 5 shots

#4 is an attempt to get in deep :( looks more like a cocked up ' Summer Fruits Pudding

All stacks were hand held or something like that.

Cheers for now
Mark

Hi Mark

Well #4 is gorgeous, I really love that one. #3 is very nice too of course.

I can see it was windy on #1 as the petals are being blown backwards

Glad to see you have some cyclamen flowering as I have a couple just coming into flower in a hanging basket and thought it was a little early for them.

Like #3 & 4 Mark cyclamen do have amazing ovary structures hidden away - looks like an outlandish raspberry pavlova :)- worth trying to peel the petals back on one side and getting a side-on shot.

Hiya Alby, Artur,

Many thanks for your kind words & comments,

I think that #3 & #4 were the only two shots that were really worth posting outa the bunch but I just wanted to show what a Cyclamen looked like to those that don't know.

I think #1 & #2 failed as I tried to shoot them it situ but it was just to windy,
I thought I may get away with placing that black BG card as a wind break, wrong  so I picked the Flower & shot #3 & #4 indoors, much easier eh

Cheers for now
Mark

Great shots Mark.

I'm glad you did take them indoors, otherwise we'd have missed 3 and 4.

Hiya Bernie,

Many thanks for your kind words & comments,

Hell it's almost impossible to shoot out doors here the wind & rain is a nightmare plus I've been struggling with another bout of these shakes that I suffer from, you should see me trying to get Peas to stay on a Fork when I get a bad session  damn they are annoying !!

Enough excuses eh

Cheers for now
Mark
