Tried a quick session with the BB's tonight, here are the results, and a couple other pictures.

#1 Not the sharpest, but it does show how the wings twist backwards at the end of the forward sweep.

#2 my best BBIF so far, kind of a overhead view.

IMAGE: http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e286/bromm/IMG_5718-01.jpg

#3 ever had a "no seeum" bite you? well they are very small, thus the name, but have an attention getting bite, especially when trying to focus while they are biting.

IMAGE: http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e286/bromm/IMG_5702-01.jpg

#4 This nymph, unknown species, was one of three on a sunflower leaf with a blck ant, when the ant tried to move it looked drunk and confused and fell off the leaf. Not sure if these guys bit the ant, or vice versa.

Did you have to pose long for that mosquito shot? I don't see one with the bee's stinger in y'.:p
Great shots, Trevor. Especially the second one.

I like the second bumble best Trevor, can't help with the id of the last one, it looks a little like an ambush bug to me but probably isn't.

Great set of shots. Bee shots are very good indeed, #2 being slightly sharper than #1 of course, but I think #1 is the better shot.
Great pic of the funny little bug :-)
You are mad letting anything bite you lol.

Great shots Trevor.

Think I like #1 the best, despite the slight softness.

Wish I could get a pic of the little so-and-so's that bite me. I never notice until it's too late.

What on earth possesses a person to photograph the insect that is sucking their blood? Bromm, you are seriously deranged, and shot 2 is a cracker! :D
