I often take multiple shots of bugs either for focus stacking or for stereos so trying a panorama seemed to be an obvious thing to do. Needed if you get stuck with a large dragonfly and an MPE-65 lens
I use autopano pro to put them together but suspect a lot of the other pano software will work fine.

Lovely shots Brian - you are lucky to have some DF's in your garden, they seem a bit few and far between this Summer unfortunately.

I would agree with RM with regard to using a 200mm, but you have to go with whatever lense is on at that time and see how it goes ay, so a good result for you
