any wild flower experts please ???

Hiya All,

For the last two years this plant has appeared in my garden it stands at around 6-7 Feet tall with little pink flowers & I have no idea as to what it is & would love to know, if any kind person could point me in the right direction that would be lovely

The first two shot are of the flower & the second two are of flower cluster & the whole 7 foot tall ' Triffid ' rubbish shots, blaming the wind again:o

What diameter is the flower ?

Just nipped out & measured & they vary between 8-20mm so I guess somewhere in between

Hi Mark, Looking in my books it looks like a GREAT WILLOWHERB.
But I'm probably way of.

Brian is right on the money Mark it's great willowherb I've got it round my pond.

I've got loads of willowherb in my garden. The bees love them.

Dont knock your shots, they are gorgeous, you have done them proud with #1 and #2. Very pretty flower and glad you got the ID - they actually look as if they could be related to the geranium family dont they.

If anything Mark mine is over saturated yours is also sharper then mine. In fact they are so alike they could be twins. Nothing wrong with your photos at all mate so don't go there.

Mark your #2 shot is awesome, well one.

We must be looking at different pics m8.

I was pleased with #1 & #2 which for me seemed the harder of the shots to get right, but #3 & #4 just don't seem right to me I can't put my finger on it they look OOF to me maybe I just spent to long looking at them eh or maybe I'm just having a bad day & trying to hard, not
