So the more I try to shoot the more difficult I find it to be. :) Here's two from today. I sat and tried to shoot a bunch of dragonflies, but they didn't want to stay still long if I got too near. I got a few shots, but nowhere near enough to fill the frame.

Sorry to say this but you really shouldn't have posted shot 1. Shot 2, you have a live subject that's interesting and looking into the picture with quite good composition. It's a bit soft but you're getting there. What kit are you using?

Actually I think I posted the wrong shot for #1. I took a couple of it but it was a bit tough since there was a breeze.

I'm using a 30D and 100mm.
