I'm not the seller. Just wondering if anyone here in the UK wants to chance this. Good luck!

At the risk of being libelous - it's a scam. No doubt - 100% sure/positive. Don't touch it with a barge pole. A better alternative to buying this would be running down the middle of the street naked shouting "Hey - anybody want to take all my money." It would make more sense.

Just my tuppence worth.

Consider his feedback of 12. All as a buyer - mostly of e-books @ < $1. He did seem to buy a refurbished 400D and a CF card, but that's it.

For something like this, I would make sure I bought it from a store, mainly for warranty and authenticity purposes.

Also guys the pics are of the Mark II.... I say stay away.. If the guy is in the UK then he would have paid £2995 so selling at $2995 would loose him loads.... Also not sure he would have got hold of one 2 months ago ???

I'm not interested. I'm just wondering if there would be a way to meet up with him if you lived near him. If not, yeah, don't send him any paypal!!!

He says that he bought it 2 months ago but isn't into photography (WTF!)

Why would anyone buy an EOS-1D Mark III who isn't into photography?

It doesn't add up!

I've been trying to find a way to report this listing as suspicious on eBay - but there's no easy way to do it. Anyone got any ideas? I'd hate someone to get sucked in to this in the way that I was taken in by a similar scam last year.

Also included is a 18-55mm lens which I believe is the standard to get started.

Comes with the "standard" 18-55

Not to worry folks - we can sleep safe tonight! I had emailed him to ask him if I paid in cash could I collect it in person. His response:

"Hello,

Kind Regards"
