When you enter the dslr world you already have a nice piece of equipement capable of outstanding pictures. Models are just the edge. Since company are selling dreams, I guess it makes sense to change, but on the other hand, the picture you take, once resize at 75, 50, 35% will look the same, maybe with some better colors, but you have post processing for that anyway. As for the AF system, paying 1,500$ for this one certainly ain't appealing. If you want good focus, take your time. just my opinion, but that's how i see it.
