Yeah, this certainly puts to an end the "why bother getting an xxD instead of the 400D" posts. This is a completely different beast from the xti.

Rebel XTi, 430ex, Tammy 28-75, nifty fifty, kit lens, tons of reading, not enough practice, and two gorgeous subjects (my kiddies)

I've been waiting for months for an answer to that question to buy a new Extreme III/IV card! Of course I know for sure now it's a CF! And it uses the same battery as my 20D.

I'm looking at the 8gb because of the RAW file sizes of around 12mb.

Canon EOS 5D Mark II, 100-400IS L, 24-105 L[COLOR=black][FONT=&quot] IS, 50mm f/1.4, Canon 430EX/580EX II, Kenko 1.5X, Epson R1900, Manfrotto 679B Monopod, 3021BPRO tripod, 808RC4 Head, 486RC2 Ballhead

Perhaps Canon is paying Amazon to do this.

J&R has an incredible deal on Sandisk cards right now.

I just bought a 8gb Extreme IV for it! That card seemed appropriate for that camera!
