You just put your wool back on and go and join the rest of the flock.

Standing up for your self respect has nothing to do with being a Rambo, but not being a sheep. ;)

I would add that guns can't detect whether you're 6'5" or 5'5" and wouldn't care even if they could. And there a lot of whack jobs out there with them. A friend of mine takes stunning shots of people when he's waiting at airports and never gets caught or accosted. Here's his trick: He finds an out-of-the-way spot, slaps on the 70-200 and when someone's looking right back at him he doesn't flinch or acknowledge that he even sees them. They apparently think he's pointing his lens elsewhere. Meanwhile, he gets them right in the eyes!

I was out most of the day, and did not find either 1080's tin man, or locky's.

I will say they both seem to have potential for trouble, with their appearance and all. Very creepy, both of them...

I did find a couple, both seemed relatively normal compared to the others, and they were just doing their thing trying to make a buck. So I guess you never know. Seems if the two earlier incidents were real violence, maybe they got what they deserved, or they were just to hungover or strung out to be out today...

I like the bird doo look better, but I didn't get off the bike to get any good (by my neophyte standards) shot of him

Nice shots!

If I dressed like that, I might want protection as well. :)

I am not agreeing with the method of the street performer, but if he wants to get paid to have his image taken and someone tries to get it for free then that is most likely what sets him off......

Me thinks the siliver oxide paint has addled what little brains he has left..

I would have done the same thing. Sure, it'd be nice to say I 'stood up for the rights of all photogs', but it's not worth getting my camera smashed to the ground over (or worse). And, at the end of the day, it's just a hobby for me.

Maybe someone should drop off a dictionary and grammar book.
That'd be a good donation.

guy just probably wanted a couple of bucks, he probably would have let you take all you wanted for dollar or two, even though you may have been "Right" a couple of bucks to me would have been worth it, probably wouldn't have needed a model release as he is unrecognizable and could have sold it over and over. JMHO.

I know from experience, the Tin Man is Touchy! And he kind of sucks at dancing. Maybe it's the old age :(

HaHa! I love Chicago.....mainly for the architecture, not the performers!
