A few random Urban shots from Chicago

Well, not everyone got pissed like the crazy silver dude (see my other post).

Here are a few of the other shots I captured. I am new to this urban life stuff but need to start somewhere. My only regret is that I cut off the wheel chair in that one shot. Did I ruin it?

eh i dont think the wheel chair picture is ruined per se ... it would have been better to have the entire wheel but its still a very cool picture non the less

im hoping to maybe get into chicago next weekend ... been livin in the burbs for over a month and only been downtown to northerly island for a concert last weekend haha

I dig the wheel chair pic and thought it looked good. I didn't notice the wheel til i read your comments.

or is that smoke?

I like the wheel getting cut off. It could use a little contrast overall though. The first one is great. Would like to see the contrast of that one on the wheel chair shot.

Thanks folks. Yes it was smoke - he just lit a butt. I took another and got him sitting there smoking it...only to cut off the "N" in newspaper. As I said, still working on the details of composition! Ill play with the wheel chair shot a bit more for the contrast issue.

TIME magazine cuts off letters all the time. Take another look. Your eye will understand that EWSPAPER is really NEWSPAPER. Maybe it's okay that you cut it off...
