My buddy has a friend who is a stand up comic that needed some headshots and some shots in the comedy club... soo I said alright this is a new challenge for me so here is my attempt in a nightclub setting with no flash... Shot with my 70-200 2.8L IS on my rebel XTi 1600ISO f/2.8 shutter was just switched around to compensate for the lighting in different areas.

01 - I told him to just stand there naturally don't pose and just kind of look over slightly so i got this shot.

02 - Before i got the 01 shot somebody said something funny so I caught this lil shot

03 - This was shot from up in the balcony to me it gives me a feeling of just a comic gathering his thoughts for the next joke I thought it was cool

04 - he was telling a joke and made this great face so i had to snap it.. he told me Man this is gonna be my myspace picture :)

Dwight, are you joking or do you not no that it's spelled women?

These don't seem as sharp as your glam stuff. The emotion is great though.

#1 is nice and #2 is quite nice, but I'ld prefer the focus on the eye.
