it looks that background was there already - probably some fabric.

have look at the shadow on the left. it perfectly fits the source of the one light from the right...

It wasn't a critisism at all. Actually, if it was done in post, I was only gonna commend her! I've been trying to experiment with the backgrounds from CGTextures so always amazed when people do a good job with replacing backgrounds!

Again nice portrait...and background!

I have a lot of time on my hands...Plus new lighting so practice practice practice.
35L + 580II + 430II into an umbrella. Focused with live view and shot with digital trigger
GF bought me RayBans for my bday so this is basically an advertisement haha;)

@wallybud - those are all really interesting photos. Between the black&white and DOF, they seem to have a really dreamlike quality to them. I think the first is my favourite, but then I've always been a sucker for pretty eyes hahah.
