Always wanted to try one of these shots. Yes I know I missed the focus.
Next attempt I'll nail it. Had to quit, family was starting to get worried:lol:

Very observant... :D - Holland America's ms Oosterdam - Originating in Seattle, destination Alaska via Inside Passage, terminating in Vancouver - Final Cruise of the Season Sept. 2007 before re-positioning. The location is in the optional dining Pinnacle Grill. We dined there a lot - food preparation is superb. Very classy venue; Bvlgari china, Riedel stemware & Rosenthal silverware set out on the finest Italian Frette linens. To say nothing of the food, yum... Cheap at any price...

Hmmm... Gotta book a cruise this year!

Rachel,

I dig it but you missed the focus. One thing I've tried is multiple shots with a remote shutter release and with a fixed focus point while progressively backing away from the camera to get that focus spot on especially with tight self portraits.

THUMBS UP....love the light, love the concept!

I agree, My focus on my self ports are always hit or miss... even with my cable release.

I did another one, which I think is a little better. It is quite fun playing with the flash off camera. lots to learn though :)
