In all honestly, I do not find that affect the least bit attractive. Sorry. :(

your shot is one of those that is good to manipulate to 'Dave Hill' style or something else

Here is 1st attempt

http://img296.imageshack.us …91999212b920576bo2ex3.jpg (external link)

and here is the second

http://img150.imageshack.us …91999212b920576bo3yr0.jpg (external link)

Really with good lighting, sharp shot, better DOF and no noise then i think not very far to try this technique or D.H. style.

what do you think of both links?

I look as though I have some sort of skin disease:shock:

hehehehe, i am very sorry
I think to get that effect very good enough then i have to shoot something with perfect lighting and using sharp lens with better DOF, then i will see what i will get, just most of you have that good lighting or mood to apply the effect, too bad that i can't post a photo i saw somewhere online, the original was ok, but the owner did a great pp that is look like Dave Hill or better, and when i tried on that his original i got really amazing result, so i thought i can do that on most photos here, but seems there is a secret before doing any pp to the original shot [about lighting and so].

Wow Nina, you're in shape - but those tight 80's jeans need to go! :)

geez, off the forum for less than 2 weeks and can't even catch up reading! Ok, so, honey, they're not 80s and way flared on the bottom. I wore those for the guys - isn't that what this thread is all about? Oh, no wait, that's the ladies-post-one-for-the-fellas-one...
though the supertight top-to-bottom skinny jeans are in again - yuck (imho)

next time I'll wear a potato sack, if you prefer? ;)

That is very cute, I did not read your fingers until the second time I looked at it... I'll have to have my daughter's do this.

My self-portrait. Caught this image, actually my wife caught it on her 31s1, while I was photographing her shooting at me. The image of me in her lens is what she had just taken.
