I just got notice that one of the photos I entered in the NYS fair is a winner. It doesn't say what it won (1st through honorable mention) I won't know that 'til I see it. But I'm so excited!!! It took it two years ago and it won first at the local county fair. It was with an A610 that I had only had for three days. I must admit that it printed to 11x14 fairly well.

I just had to toot my own horn!! I'm so excited!:oops:

Congrats! It's great you got a clear image at 11x14. Contests, even local ones, are always fun to be a part of. I haven't done one in years. You are brave! Post your shot for us.

I don't think I can. I had it on my computer last year and when I cleaned it out I tossed it. It's in my old shutterfly acct and I can't figure out how to link to it, you can only e-mail it to people.

It's of a local train station, b&w of the metal stairs going from the tracks to the depot. If I can find it somewhere else I'll post it.

OK I figured out a way to link to it. Let me know how you like it. It's really not one that I like all that much but some people seem to like it. shrug. In all honesty I was just snapping pictures and thought the line were interesting and changed it to B&W.

Nevermind I just saw that anyone can print from that page so I had to take it down. Sorry.

Nice clean shot. Lines in B&W are really wonderful for contrast and dof.
