I have been planning to buy a 40D for some time and I bought a 400D to tide the time over few months back. 400D is a wonderful camera.
Is it worth upgrading from 400D to 40D?

If all you are going to do is set it up to fully auto and take snapshots now and then, it may not be worth the hassle or expense of upgrading. If you want to shoot sports and either know what you are doing or are willing to learn, there is no question it is worth it.
