Well, miracles of miracles, one of my orchids bloomed. This shot is at 1.4:1 magnification. I used the 180 macro coupled with the 1.4x t-con and a MT-24EX, all mounted on a 1D3. Sorry about the dust spots. I haven't shot over f/11 in a while.
