Has anybody of you felt that the standard hotels can feel like prisons. You do not know anybody, you are tempted to stay in due to bad weather. There are only two English channels in tv (CNN, BBC - sic).

The view from the window can be even more depressing ...

I like that use of a filter. Hotels are depressing. They usually don't look like that without a little PP help, but I like this round of it. Definitely helps add to the mood that you want to portray. :)

I am Henry. NOT Hank. And certainly not a length of rope tied in a knot. ;)
My family calls me Hen, but you can call me Chicken. See you out there!

I like hotels Olli. I know it is weird but I would be happy living in one. I like the routine and the various services on tap so I don't have to do anything. If I could I would probably spend the rest of my life travelling from hotel to hotel, city to city, like a millionnaire gypsy. However, when I was a freelancer I used to stay in many mid-range and in some you have noisy people next door, or they are too hot or cold or it is noisy from outside, or some services or facilities are crap, etc. I am really talking about living in top hotels, not mid-range ;-)a

Cheers & thanks AC. The true look of the building in the light rain after sunset is not much different, but I admit, just a bit noise added on top the high noise of the original picture itself boosted the gloomy feeling.

Well, you are the one of the positive fellows here in POTN, you know it Papa. Good to have you with us. Not one like me trying to find all misery in the world ...

I bought some cheap flipflops. They are very comfy.
