My wife is in Newport, RI to attend our niece's wedding. In a rush at the Denver airport she left her camera hanging on a chair. I suggested that she find a decent P&S Canon digital in Newport so that she can get some good photos (not just wedding photos - she's a Wyoming native and Rhode Island is a treat!! ;) ).

Can anyone suggest a decent, not too expensive Canon digital P&S and perhaps a place in Newport to purchase it? (I've resisted telling her to buy a 1DS and trading with me when she gets home. :D)

Thanks (in advance)!

best buy. i dont know of any camera shops unless you look it up on yellowpages.com.
but i know best buy has a pretty good selection of cameras. but its just a suggestion. lol. if she finds a place that really does know their products better then go for that. i personally would stay away from the ritz, wolf, and kit camera stores. they charge a whole lot more, and dont always know what they are talking about. i learned my lesson the hard way.

She may want to run up to Providence - it's not that far.
