As I suspect you realised- all the shots except #1 and #4 were done down in the grass when I was doing dewdrop refraction shots. So yes I did carry the BG with me- a miniature rose
It's suprising how many bugs you find in the grass when you look closely so all the shots with water drops and fly are happenstance, in that the fly and drop were already in position- I just had to try and get a flower behind them without disturbing the fly. They are more easily disturbed by this than they are by having a camera lens pushed in their face . #2,5,6,& 7 would have all been taken around 3:1 magnification so the dewdrops (and flies) are all pretty small ones.
All the shots except #1 were focus stacked.
