Ok we have a Shield Bug, or Forest Bug PENTATOMA RUFIPES.

Great shot Bran..lots of detail. Ive seen loads of these about recently.

Was this shot using the 430EX? Im after a flash and wonder how you get on with it.

Thanks Alistair. Yes used 430EX. I find it very easy to use and setup.
Have it on a bracket so it's of camera.
I've just made some diffusers so I will play around with them and see how things go.
