Here it is. I'm going to start this thread, but I'm not expecting "Great shots" comments as I didn't take all of them, Jim did some and I was so busy, I didn't get to really do much more than snap away. Very little PP. Enjoy!

#1 Prewedding test shots

#4 Introducing: Brandon & Sarah

#5 I told you the pink shirt was a little much. My brother took this one with my 5D. He's a pro photographer, shooting with 2 Leicas

#6 Little brother, trying to get away from the crowd

#7 Brother on mission, couldn't be there, but was represented. Sorry for the shine. Jim took this one. I did a little PP.

#8 The Band. They played for food. The lady playing the clarinet is a pro photographer/graphic artist and shoots with NIKON. I like her anyway.

#9 The Uncovering Ceremony

#10 Jim took this one. My new grand niece. She's so adorable.

Thanks to Jim and Dave Terry in UT for being such great friends. I couldn't have done it without you. I had a great time despite the craziness. My friends all pulled it together.

Oh the mormon temple... I don't think I've ever seen what the actual building looks like, only the pointy things in the distance.

Thanks, Tim. :)

For those that want to see the UT pictures, give me a PM. Dave Terry has a site and I only link those that are really interested.

That's awesome! congrats! I assume there are no ceremony shots to share if it was a temple wedding, right? I'm sure they'll be happy for time and eternity! :)

They are most definately a couple in love...here is the "first kiss" outside the Temple that is...

And here is the entire wedding party less the "cardboard cutie" baking in the noon sun at 105 degrees.

Gosh, Suzie...I never connected you going to Utah rather often with a religion! I'm friends with a family that has a place in Palmyra. Lovely folks.

I do find it humorous that the mother/wife in the family is a scientist, though. A Mormon scientist.. Nothing against the beliefs...just seems contradictory! :p

And Ronald, I went to Cornell, not BYU, like some other person in the forum (that's between her and me :)). I'm a moderate democrat from NYC.

The temple in DC is the largest one. It's a glorious site from 495, outer loop. And it's as beautiful inside as it is outside. I love studying religions and cultures, so I absolutely love seeing different types of weddings in this forum. LDS weddings are not as colorful. :(

Jim brought his ultra wide, and I was jealous. If I had time, I might have switched my 17-40 onto the 5D, but I was told I wasn't the primary shooter by my kids and husband. But as you can tell in some of the pictures, I am holding my camera. ;) :)

Thanks, Jake. It's so wonderful to marry off a son and know he is happy. Starting out is fun and wonderful, but also trying at times. I hope he gets all that great stuff. I learned so much from the trials we had, and after 25 years together (anniversary this Monday), we are grateful.

The temple is really white and really big. You can get blinded if you are not careful. :)
