Ok so I've been undecided on wether I should get one of the two Opteka products

1st) Opteka 42X wide angle panoramic marco fisheye lens.

2nd) Opteka 38X HD2 superwide angle panoramic marco fisheye lens

Not too many reviews out on this product and the one I went to one person liked it and the other didn't 50/50:rolleyes: sort of like Apple product feedback page

These are the pages

my question is what do you think should I go for it?

Hi there,
Did you end up getting one of these? I'm thinking of doing the same for my a540 so I was wondering if there were any additional adapter rings that I keep hearing about. :)

I am also looking for a fisheye for my A95 (and possibly for my A710 using a step-up ring) but I thought I would need about .24x to get a fully round image. For that reason, I was considering the Opteka .22x fisheye. Has anyone tried the Opteka .22x, .38x or the .42x on a Canon A-series camera, and if so, when zoomed all the way out do you get a fully round image or at least 180 degrees from corner to corner?
