Canon Camera Shops in Manila, the Phillipines??

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good camera shop in Manila? My son is going for three weeks and offered to scout out any bargains for his poor old dad who is stuck here in Miami .

If you know of a place with a possible bargain, please let me know!

I don't think you'll save that much money purchasing it over there. Their in-store prices are a little higher than US prices but depending on the shop (and your negotiating skills), they may cut you a discount if you pay hard cash. You may have a difficult time haggling the price if they know if you're a foreigner. They also may slap the 12% VAT on top of that.

There are three stores you may want to check out. Two stores called Canon D-Zone in the Glorietta 3 mall in Makati and the Mall Of Asia in Pasay City. There's another shop in Megamall's "cybersumthing" section of the mall in Ortigas. I forgot the name but you can't miss it.
