:p

So how many would honestly admit that you are wired in such a way that you just gotta have the newest toy out there...just because it's the newest toy out there?

I use Canon gear...have several bodies and lenses and am quite pleased with them.

The Mark III is an old story by now.....a pretty boring and inconsistent one at that, yet I am sceptical about it ever becoming a general success story.
Thus, we hope the MkIV or MkIIIN will turn into a camera worth its price and worth getting. Until then the MkIIN's will have to do.

most here would only get the latest if it offered significant advantages over the model it is replacing - the high ISO performance of the MK3 does just that.

I'd wait for the Mark V.

Get the MKIII. You will not regret it. The Mark IV won't be out for a couple/few years.
