My buddy asked me to shoot his wedding and since it is really my first one I thought I would put up a few pic

nice first shots eagle, but i think in the 3rd and 4th shot the flash is a little overpowering. Nice 1st try though!

Congrats on your first wedding. Your pictures do look fine, but the amount of contrast and PP I can't tell well enough. Can you do a higher resolution for us to look at? Also, just some observations about green and brown. They don't go together well, not too much color to work with. If you try a black & white conversion before you really start trying to get skin tones right, you'd end up with better images. Also, don't be nervous to go tight on the subjects. It's breaking the rule of thirds, but in current wedding styles, that's okay.

Yes, all were shot in raw and had some pp done. The last one probably had the most and the first one very little.

Thanks. I can't put a larger one up right now. So you suggest to convert to b&w, then make adjustments to the lighting, then switch back to color and work on that. Never tried that before.

Yeah now that you mention it, I see it mostly in the third.

Not exactly, just decide which pictures would work better in B&W because brown and green and skin tone really don't go well.
