It was hot. and humid. So much so you sweat at night waiting for a taxi. You have white salt stains on dark colored clothing, and carrying a loaded camera bag really isn't fun. What we do for our images.

thanks for all the comments. Yes, the Great Wall has been conquered. By tourists. And if there's anything China has.. it's people. The haziness is exacerbated by the weather.. hot, humid. I understand in the spring the air is clearer. But the haziness at the great wall is probably mostly weather cuz it's not really close to any large cities.

Here you can see just how bad it is in Shanghai. And this was in the morning
