It may not be obvious.. but we were in China. I have a separate thread in Travel (and Landscape)

Yeah, the first one is a bit harsh. #2 and #3 are perfect. What kind of lens were you using?

#2 is my favorite. What a cutie. Yes, #1 is a bit harsh, but #2 & 3 are great.

I love #2 and #3. I've posted a few snaps of youngsters from my China travels. The camera just seems to love Chinese children. They are so expressive and uninhibited in front of the lens.

Hey thanks for the comments. Been helping my dad with a flooded basement here in the midwest.

1st and last were taken with the 24-70
2nd was with 70-200 2.8 (nonIS)

I guess the 1st one is a love it/hate it kind of picture. I do like it. Taken on a small lounge chair in our hotel room in Beijing with the window in the background. You could see the Forbidden City from our hotel but not in this picture.

All 3 pictures are the same girl who happens to be my daughter Jessica while we were on vacation in China.

I actually like the 1st one. I think if you up the contrast a little and maybe a little more saturation, it would be awesome!
