When I went to Tangiers in Morocco a while back, the people there will let you take photos of mostly anything. Although, when a funeral procession was walking down the street, they bluntly tell you not to take pics in respect of the dead.

Are we seriously going to list every location on the planet earth that doesn't allow flash photography? You realize that list would go on for a few hundred thousand pages?

There are so many places that allow photography, so, I doubt the list will be thousands, but just in case someone is going on a trip to DC for instance, and they plan to spend $16/person at the Spy Museum, just be prepared, no pictures allowed. :)

Grotto Gigante, The Carso in Trieste, it's limestone caves, no photography allowed....there are no signs either, they just tell you when you try to snap away. You can buy plenty of postcards though lol.

The Ho Chi Minh Mouselium. Found out the hard way while on a city tour of Hanoi, Vietnam. You can't even bring any kind of backpack or handbag inside. They have to be checked at a booth.

They allow photography (flash too) inside the Ho Chi Minh Museum though, which is a short distance away.
