Forno, I see the resemblance in Tom Waits' album cover. I think my photographs sit on the fence delineating photographs and photoart, that's where I am drifting into, for better or worse.
Thanks for looking all, much appreciated.
Always a pleasure

When I was working on the photos, I was leaning towards the second one as my favorite. I am quite (pleasantly) surprised that #1 is the preferred one here Pio

When I was working on the photos, I was leaning towards the second one as my favorite. I am quite (pleasantly) surprised that #1 is the preferred one here Much of the credit for these photos should go to the artist who painted the mural. I imagine him sweating for weeks under the hot sun, painting a wall nearly a hundred feet long and more than 12 feet high. Lots of work, unles he's Tom Sawyer. Me? I just clicked my camera and that's it ![]() Rick, welcome to the forum! I think these would be amazing as a set BB, since they both share the wall in common. It makes sense to me because I like both of them alot. I am Henry. NOT Hank. And certainly not a length of rope tied in a knot.

Stunning as they are on my sad 17" monitor.... if done up 2'X3' hanging on a wall .... Wow. Best wide angle lens? Two steps backward. Look for the "ah-ha". - Ernst Haas

I do have to get that tutorial going, every time I start though I get bogged down a bit. I do have a general workflow, but I increasingly find that somehow I tackle each photo in a different way. There is no magic simple solution to any one of them, specially since the outcome is highly dependent on judicious, localized application of D & B. Add to that my increasing interest in blending modes and it gets complicated fast. Anyway, I will stick to one photo and go through the steps of PP'ing it. Now if I can only organize my thoughts and get some screen captures going,, whew Pio
