Finally got around to sorting out my pics from last friday.

All shot with 10D and a L 100-400mm. And edited in Lightroom.

C&C Welcome.

These are awesome Dave, #2's priceless!
just a question, what camera mode focussing do you use? I've done some V8 SC shots with a 20D & 100-400 and they were pretty hit&miss (mostly miss) using AI-servo

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

It looks like you got a tad too crazy with the post processing on a few of these, but I really like what you did on number 2. It is a cool shot!

joesph - thanks mate. I think i used the AI-servo. And just focused and panned with the cars.

Poindexter - It was a very overcast day, with only slight periods of sunshine. So the colours are very washed out with the originals. Also i used a velvia plugin with lightroom and that brought the colours out abit.
Also with shot number 2, i used a "300" style plugin. Which desaturates it and adds abit a redness/browness to the image.

Nice shots, but are the colours correct? I thought the Holdens were red, not pink? But I haven't watched any for a while, so maybe they changed

Both HRT and Team Vodafone have cars the exact same colour as a witches hat ( safety cone ) - mega bright orange - the television cameras can't handle the colour and broadcast the both of them as very bright red....quite clever actually...
