Shot this yesterday. It is about 3-4 mm long (body) antennae are way longer.
Can't find anything that looks like it.

Excellent capture. What a strange little beastie. Must be close to the record for the longest antenna in relation to body size.

No help with the Id I'm afraid.

Hiya Skylab,

Lovely shot of a Micro Moth but which one I've no idea.

I just spent ages looking through the UK Moth site & I'm damned if I can find it there, I've looked at hundreds & hundreds of different Moths some are close but not it though.
I'll be counting em in my sleep instead of sheep now :lol:

Cheers for now
Mark

I cant help with the ID either, but you could take a look (and join) a site that I frequently use, called Back Garden Moths. Its a great site, very friendly and always willing to ID for people.

Link: http://www.back-garden-moths.co.uk/forum/index.php (external link)

You would obviously have to join to be able to upload the pic, but you might like some of the other sections in there too for various other sorts wildlife.

If its not a moth, they will soon tell you.

Linda
