I'm sure I'm not the only one sitting on a small mountain of slides and negatives.
I have long wanted to scan both formats and I have looked at scanners of different types.
But in the end, even if you can get great results on your own, it will take you forever before you are done.

So I have decided to have a company do it for me. It will cost me, but save me a lot of time, so I believe it's worth it.

I have looked at several online services and Scancafe stands out.

You don't have to order all the slides/negatives you send them, you choose online which scans you want. Their prices are good too.
The catch is that their service is done in India, I have read about some being a little afraid of having their prized slides shipped far away.
Also, Scancafe seems to have been quiet about this until recently.

Have anybody here used them?

Wow! Great find. I'd be interested to see if anyone has used them.
