I don't really care about price.. I'm looking for something maybe midrange to high dollar.

I'm not paying for it so i don't care. :lol:

I just want something that works really nice and it's strong, durable and won't drop my camera and will last a long time.

I can only speak from experience. I can not say it is the BEST head for pano's, but it does a great job.

I just ordered the Kaidan QuickPan Professional (the brand new one, not the old ones)... I'll let you know how I like it.

Not a pan head, per se, but I get good panos with my Gitzo legs with leveling column and a Kirk's ball head. The leveling column is perfect for stitching together frames for a wide pano.


No-Excuses Kit: 1Ds Mk III, 1D Mk IV, 60D (IR Only). Lenses (all Canon): 16-35m f/2.8 L, 24-70mm f/2.8 L, 24-105mm f/4.0 L IS, 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS, 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L IS, 85 mm f/1.2 L MkII, 100mm f/2.8 macro, MP-E 65mm f/2.8 macro, 15mm f/2.8 fisheye.
