I just bought a seriously discounted used version of the Sigma 50mm 2.8 macro from Adorama. Working order, will work on my Mark II etc. etc. etc.

It showed up today and I took a couple shots wide open and stopped down a bit. The pics looked the same! Then the lens gave me Err 01 on any aperture but 2.8.

DAMN

Too cheap not to try to email Sigma to fix.

So, I email them at 11:56 with the problem, they email me back at 12:01 saying ship it in, we'll fix it for free.
